Born in Cairo, Rami Attallah became one of the youngest jazz pianists in the professional musical
scene in Egypt.
Rami is the grandson of Bib Henein- a godfather of Jazz in Egypt. He studied Jazz piano, theory of music and classical piano. Rami won the International Examinations Board Certificate for Piano and Music Theory from Trinity College of Music in London.
Rami composed over thirty songs. He has worked on tens of arrangements and side projects and was the music director of a successful video about the evolution of Music in Egypt between 1920 and 2013. Rami is the founder of the Rami Attallah Group performing his compositions as well as being the main pianist of the Riff Band Jazz Group and the Los Compadres Latin Jazz Group. He also plays with other groups and released his first album "Shokran JAZZilan" at the Cairo Jazz Festival in March 2014. His second album was released in 2015 : "A Conversation" with the Egyptian singer Noha Fekry . Rami recently received a scholarship from the French government for his studies at le CIM (Jazz School and Contemporary Music) in Paris,
for the 2016 – 2017 school year.
